Advancing Crystal Beach has brokered agreements with a variety of municipal and regional service organizations to provide services to clients at Crystal Ridge Community Church (CRCC) on Thursdays from September to June each year, OR make a presentation about their services and contact information at the regular Thursday luncheon. ACB coordinates the program directly with participating organizations.
Services are available to everyone in Fort Erie.
Current services available at the CRCC:
Justice Niagara legal staff make appointments and/or accept drop-in clients every second Thursday.
Job Gym staff attend the last Thursday of each month to assist with job preparation/paperwork, etc.
Bridges Community Health Centre assigns a Clinic Outreach Worker to attend every week.
Bridges Community Health Centre assigns a Nurse Practitioner to attend every second week to assist with medical questions.
Salvation Army staff attend every second week to assist with a variety of issues.
The Adult Literacy Council of Greater Fort Erie is willing to meet with people interested in improving their literacy on Thursdays.
Positive Living Niagara has conducted naloxone training.
Mental Health and Addiction Counsellors are available on Thursday afternoons at CRCC by appointment. A doctor’s referral is required. Contact: Amanda.Fidler@cschn.ca
WARM (Women’s Addiction Recovery Mediation) This YMCA Niagara support group for women meets on Thursdays at 1:15pm at the Crystal Ridge Community Church – 241 Elmwood Ave., Crystal Beach. All women welcome whether dealing with an addition or supporting someone else. No referral is necessary.
